Activating the function: menu "Extras", "Insert Symbol, Keyboard Shortcuts"
For general hints regarding the usage of shortcuts in Coniuno, see Insert shortcuts.
With help of the function "keyboard shortcuts" you can assign symbols to certain keyboard shortcuts and use them directly while typing verbs. By that you omit the usage of function "Insert symbols". This is particularly of help when using Coniuno on a notebook, as here the arrow-keys might not be available. These keys are normally used for inserting the symbols.
The following symbols are available:
|á, à, â, ä, ã|
|é, è, ê|
|í, ì, î|
|ó, ò, ô, ö, õ|
|ú, ù, û, ü|
The following keyboard shortcuts can be defined:
|Ctrl F1||.. Ctrl F10|
|Ctrl+Shift F1||.. Ctrl+Shift F10|
|Ctrl+Shift+Alt F1||.. Ctrl+Shift+Alt F10|
To assign a keyboard shortcut select the shortcut from the selection list beside the according symbol and press Ok. You can also select several shortcuts and assign them together with pressing Ok.
Coniuno checks during the definition of shortcuts if a certain shortcut is already in use for a different symbol and warns you accordingly.
In order to delete a shortcut again, choose the entry <empty> or delete all shortcuts by pressing "reset".
