Administer irregular verb-infos, Portuguese

The following settings can be done for Portuguese verbs:

  • AR_ACCENT

    In this list are "ar"-verbs that have at least two vocals in the verb primitive and where the last vocal will be stressed (receives an accent). The accent will be added in Indicativo Presente, Conjuntivo Presente and Imperativo (e.g. saudar) (also see "IR_ACCENT").

  • IR_ACCENT

    In this list are "ir"-verbs that have at least two vocals in the verb primitive and where the last vocal will be stressed (receives an accent). The accent will be added in Indicativo Presente, Conjuntivo Presente and Imperativo (e.g. coibir) (also see "AR_ACCENT").

  • IAR

    In this list are verbs that end irregularly on "iar" (e.g. "mediar"). Verbs ending on "iar" that are not in this list are built regularly on "ar" by Coniuno.

  • IR (U,O)

    In this list are verbs that end on "ir" and that have "u" as vocal in the verb primitive. The "u" will be turned to "o" in tenses Indicativo Presente and Imperativo. "ir"-verbs that are not in this list keep their vocal in the verb primitive unchanged.

    "gir"-verbs that are included in this list (e.g. fugir) are built according to "~gir" and "ir (u,o)".

  • E_IR_1

    In this list are verbs that end on "ir" and that have "e" as vocal in the verb primitive. The "e" will be turned to "i" in tenses Indicativo Presente, Conjuntivo Present and Imperativo. "ir"-verbs that are not in this list keep their vocal in the verb primitive unchanged (also see E_IR_2).

  • E_IR_2

    In this list are verbs that end on "ir" and that have "e" as vocal in the verb primitive. The "e" will be turned to "i" in tenses Indicativo Presente (only singular I), Conjuntivo Present and Imperativo. "ir"-verbs that are not in this list keep their vocal in the verb primitive unchanged (also see E_IR_1).

    "guir"-verbs that are included in this list (e.g. seguir) are built according to "~guir" and "ER_IR_2".

  • TER

    In this list are verbs that end irregularly on "ter". Verbs ending on "ter" that are not in this list are built regularly on "er" by Coniuno.

  • UAR

    In this list are verbs ending on "uar" that stress the "u" with an accent. The accent will be added in Indicativo Presente and Imperativo (e.g. arruar).

  • VER

    In this list are verbs that end irregularly on "ver". Verbs ending on "ver" that are not in this list are built regularly on "er" by Coniuno.

  • VIR

    In this list are verbs that end irregularly on "vir". Verbs ending on "vir" that are not in this list are built regularly on "er" by Coniuno.
