Reflexive verbs


Coniuno uses the rules listed here to build reflexive verbs.

  1. Coniuno recognises reflexive verbs from the syntax: verb + oneself, e.g. to control oneself
  2. Generally spoken the following building scheme is valid for all reflexive verbs:

            Singular I     conjugated verb + myself
            Singular II    conjugated verb + yourself
            Singular III   conjugated verb + himself / herself
            Plural I       conjugated verb + ourselves
            Plural II      conjugated verb + yourselves
            Plural III     conjugated verb + themselves
        

 Example 1:Indicative, Present, Singular I of "to control oneself":
   I control myself
 
 Example 2:Indicative, Present Perfect, Singular III (männlich) of "to control oneself":
   He has controlled himself
 
 Example 3:Indicative, Present Perfect, Singular III (weiblich) of "to control oneself":
   She has controlled herself
