Group I (ij-ee-e), Rule I, Conjugation

Rule I: Group 1, strong verbs with pattern "ij-ee-e"


 I.Abbreviation:ij-ee-e (#1)
 
Description: "ij" for "ee/e" substitution for strong verbs, whose verb primitives end on "ij" and that are followed by one arbitrary consonant.
 
Example verb: 2.blijven (strong verb)
 
Application: -the verb's verb primitive ends on "ij" and is followed by a consonant.
-the "ij" is replaced by a double, respectively a single "e", e.g. "wij bleven", not "wij blijvden".

Imperatief: -
Voltooid Deelwoord (Past Participle):-
 
  Applies for (strong verbs):
OTT (Present): -
OVT (Past): Singular I-III (ee), Plural I-III (e)
Imperatief: -
Voltooid Deelwoord (Past Participle):always (e)
 
  Example:
OVT (Past):weak: "rijpen" => "ik rijpte", not "ik reep"
OVT (Past):strong: "blijven" => "ik bleef", not "ik blijfde"
 
Detection: Verbtime detects "ij-verbs" automatically as strong verbs. If a verb shall however be built weak/regularly, then it must be included in the list of strong verbs (ignore).
