Rule XVII: (ge), avoid adding double prefixes


 XVII.Abbreviation:(ge)
 
Description: Building the Voltooid Deelwoord without adding prefix "ge", if the verb already begins with a non-separable verb prefix.
 
Example verb: 24.verminderen (weak verb)
 
Application: -the verb begins with a non-separable verb prefix, as for example "ver", "ont", "be", "ge" and so on.

Imperatief: -
Voltooid Deelwoord (Past Participle):always

  Example:
Voltooid Deelwoord:weak: "verminderen" => "verminderd", not "geverminderd"
Voltooid Deelwoord:strong: "vergeten" => "vergeten", not "gevergeten"
